Mannie's journey from being expelled from school with a 0.7 GPA to graduating with honors in engineering, earning an MBA from LSU-Shreveport, and obtaining a graduate certificate in systems engineering from MIT exemplifies his remarkable resilience and determination.

As a motivational speaker, Mannie shares actionable strategies for academic success, encouraging students to start strong, stay focused, and turn failures into opportunities. His impactful speeches have inspired countless students, many of whom credit his guidance for helping them navigate their toughest college years.
Why is Mannie passionate about speaking?
After getting kicked out of school Mannie had to work multiple jobs just to survive. Working that many jobs wasn't sustainable and it wasn't the life that he wanted. He knew what it felt like to not give any effort and to fail but he wanted to know what life would look like if he gave it his full effort even if he failed again, his family would be proud of the person he had become.
Mannie remains close to his parents, who play an active role in his children's lives. He has been with his wife for six years, and they have a 5-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. The family enjoys spending weekends being active, visiting theme parks in Orlando, and going to the beach.
